How do I cancel an external transfer request?

If the cancel option is not available, then the transfer is in process and cannot be cancelled.

To cancel an external funds transfer (one time standard, next day, scheduled, or recurring funds transfer), perform the following steps:


From the Move Money page, select External Transfers.


Select the Activity tab.


Determine the transfer to be cancelled, and then click the Arrow next to the transfer.

On the right hand side below the transfer details, click Cancel.


On the Cancel Transfer page, click Yes, Cancel.

When canceling a transfer that is part of a recurring transfer plan, you will have the options to cancel This Transfer or All Remaining Transfers. You will also receive a second Cancel Recurring Transfer screen, where you will choose either No, Don't Cancel or Yes, Cancel.

From the Cancel Transfer Confirmation page, you will be provided with a reference number and a display of the transfer details, click Done to return to the Activity page.

The transfer/transfer plan will also appear on the Activity page within External Transfers with a status of Cancelled.
