When does a Biller receive my payment?


The biller receives the payment on or before the scheduled due date you specified.

  • Some billers may not always credit your account on the same day that they receive the payment. Allow for extra time in this situation so the payment is not considered late.
  • If you schedule a same-day payment, the biller will receive and acknowledge the payment on the current business day or the next business day, depending on the time of day when you enter your payment information. However, the biller's payment system may not credit the payment to your account until the next business day. If you want to verify the payment, you may want to wait a day or two before contacting the biller.
  • If you schedule an Expedited Payment using the Same Day Bill Pay option, the participating biller will receive and acknowledge the payment on the current business day as well as credit the payment to your account. There is an additional fee associated with a Same Day Bill Pay. If you want to verify the payment, you may want to wait a day or two before contacting the biller.   • If you schedule an Expedited Payment using the Overnight Check option, the participating biller will receive and acknowledge the payment on the next business day. You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number so you may track when your payment is delivered. However, the biller's payment system may not credit the payment to your account until the biller processes the payment. There is an additional fee associated with an Overnight Check. If you want to verify the payment, you may want to wait a day or two before contacting the biller.
