Why do you request my login information for outside accounts?

We ask for your login information so we can sync your account details from outside institutions. This allows us to perform a free analysis of your existing investments, and saves you from typing in all your holdings if you decide to transfer an account during account opening.

We take your security seriously. Your login credentials are encrypted and passed through our data provider, Yodlee. Then, they're stored on their servers. At no point do we store or have direct access to your credentials.

Don't feel comfortable electronically importing your accounts? You can manually add your holdings instead.
