How do I verify that an item has not cleared?
To verify that an item has not cleared yet, simply review your account transaction history by viewing your Pending Transactions, Current Period, and Previous Period.
You can also search for the item using the Search Transactions feature in Online Banking.
Note: For more information about using the Search Transactions feature, go to How do I search for an item that was posted to my account?
Note: You should refer to your past account statements if the item was posted prior to the Previous Period. Most SunTrust accounts now have 18 months of previous statements available online. To determine if online statements are available for your account type, go to Which account statements can I view online? To view your past account statements online, go to How do I view, print, and save my online statement?
