To add a favorite in Internet Explorer, perform the following steps:
On the Internet Explorer header, click the Favorites icon.
Click the Add to favorites drop-down menu, then click Add to favorites….
In the Add a Favorite dialog box, in the Name field, type a nickname for the website.
The field will default to the name of the web page.
Click Add.
